The Essence 80 Monobloc combines a pair of the legendary Gold Lion KT88 beam power tubes with our patented iQ Continuous Automatic Bias System and a massive 14 pound power transformer to deliver a vivid, lifelike sound that practically leaps from the loudspeakers. Two 12AU7 twin triodes operating in a Class A1 direct coupled configuration form the input and driver circuit. Premium rhodium plated binding posts provide connections for speakers of 4, 8, or 16 ohms.
